Reclaimed B.A.C. 1-11 wings, perforated aluminum, computer programmed LED light systems
Day Star Archway is an entrance plaza along a sidewalk into the San Antonio International Airport parking garage. I was the artist member of the Architectural Design Team for the entire parking garage. Both wings were removed from an abandoned B.A.C. 1-11 jet airliner, polished and computer controlled LED light systems were inserted to perform a thirty-minute program.
